Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Study of Porous Anodic Alumina Films Fabricated at Low Temperature

A method of fabrication AAO film in 0.3 mol/L H2C2O4 by adding 1,2-propanediol(PROH) and at sub-zero temperature has been proposed. The electrochemical characteristics the barrier porous layers films before after pore-filling are examined using impedance spectroscopy (EIS). It is shown that high medium frequency range corresponds to layer properties low ranges reflect sealed properties. calculated thickness 1 ~ 18 nm. resistance (Rb) (δb) increase capacitance (CPEb) decrease with volume percentage PROH increasing from electrolyte 25 % 75 %. surface non-homogeneity goes better pore-filling, leading a (CPEp) an thickness.
